Ri - Universal Remote App Reviews

Tried tons of IR remotes this one gets the "Worst Award"!!!  Not only does it crash non stop. The user interface was CRAZY! Ive never seen such a disorganized mess! Literally a list of random buttons: random commands in random order!! Channel up was somewhere on the list hard to find and channel down was somewhere else on the list so far away it was laughable!! This app is a JOKE! 

Does not work at all for my iPad .Iv go fore tvs it acts like it looks like its going to work but it does not only on my I pod can I get it to control the sony Stereo so 12 things and get to work one of them

Its pretty rare when I can find a TV that this will work on. Its almost become a game to carry it with me everywhere I go and see if itll work on anything I come across. This product is not much more than a proof of concept. Even though they show a huge database of compatible components, very few of them actually work. Honestly I wish I could get my money back.

I have a Sony STR-DA1200ES receiver. The remote control of the receiver stopped working about a year ago. I had to resort to controlling the receiver manually since then. However several functions on the receiver can only be accessed via the remote control. I tried the Ri - and surprise, it was able to control the receiver! Got to the settings that I needed to adjust. I used it on an iPhone 4. The UI is not friendly at all though. I dont know if this app/device is being developed further.

These guys have NO Business Ethics. They hire me as a consultant on contract and then once they got my marketing and application ideas down and some wireframes, they decided they no longer needed me and have not paid for my services rendered. Its small change to me but just thought I would let everyone know how bad this company operates.

Useless program.... Doesnt work as I had hoped. Freelance contractor, u can sue them if u had a written contract. U can add lawyer fees to the law-suit amount for their lack on interest in paying u.

This app keep crashing after configure the remote on iPhone 5 iOS 6.12... Plz fix. And iPhone 5 audio port is bottom but app wont turn the orientation.

I havent found any glitches but the screen doesnt rotate. This is very inconvenient for iPhone 5, 5c, and 5s users where the headphone port is on the bottom. Please enable screen rotation.

I would give it a zero if I could....totally freezes up.have turned off my iPad about 5 times trying to reboot it .you cant even go down the manufacturers list because screen freezes....forget it! Dont waste your time!

Awful. I opened this app and forced closed it about 5 times. The app opens frozen. I even deleted and reinstalled. Worthless.

I downloaded this app on my iPad and iPhone on both devices it sat on the initial choose your device prompt. The list would not select or scroll. Clearly this app is not ready. I dont know how it got past Apples App Store requirements. Must be something that occurred after initial acceptance.

Its like downloading a screenshot of an app that doesnt work at all. Nothing works. Downloaded it to delete it. Dont waste your time or bandwidth. Anyone who gives this more than one star either works for this crappy developer or is a total moron.

Sadly I cant push even one button to configure settings.

Cant even scroll through the listing of brands of TVs or open anything else within the app. Waste of time.

Downloaded it and it simply doesnt work. Just stays frozen on the first screen. iPhone 6+ is a no go for this app.

Downloaded and wont let you scroll. Just frozen. Dont know why Apple approved

Installed two times... Crashes on startup...
