This app is NOT free!! False advertising! They want you to buy a 19.99 adapter that plugs into you headphone jack for it to work..

Let the app rotate!!! As it currently is, this cant be used with iPod touch; only iPhone. That makes this app useless to me, total garbage. Im glad I tested out the app before wasting $20 on the hardware! ADD ROTATION!

so far I have not found any devices that it supports, you have to download the app before you can try and search for compatibility. Really disappointed.

Yes Im aware you need hardware for this. But what irks me is that the company doesnt list the tv models it supports online. The best they do is say "download the app to see". Way to get your download numbers up. I see your game. And its BS! Well your trick didnt work and all it did was give you another 1 star review.

It was $20 now went up $30? Forget it! I can get FLPR remote for $10more which has much better designed UI app for iPhone. Ri-remote app on iphone doesnt support ratina display yet and takes long time to load on my iPhone4 every time to open to use. Once figured your devices it should be right there why needs to spinning to load?

I got the remote to work with my tv. But using the app is a major pain. It has the worst UI ive seen in a while. To turn on or off the tv I had to scroll 3 pages from the volume and channel controls. Their was little thought into the button placement for instance their is a random button between the video inputs. The iPad version will not help the problem of paging through several pages of controls. Because the iPad version is simply a blown up version of the iPhone app. A major usability overhaul is needed.

Without a doubt this is an excellent purchase for me. 1. Bought at promotional price - 2 for $25 2. Setup complete in less than 2 minutes 3. Works with all my HDTV and home theatre etc. Cons/Suggested improvements - app interface could be better and more stylish. App load time could be reduced. It takes a while for remote app to come up. Other than that, no doubt its excellent for the price I paid.

Works incredibly well, Vizio,JVC,TimeWarner CableBox, I love it. Much cheaper than replacement remote for old JVC i bought at Salvation Army. This is very cool! So thankful for added tech, i love gadgets for my iPad!

This does not work well with my Sony TV. When I press Channel up or down it doesnt work. It changes the video source. I have emailed twice and no response. Not very good tech support.

Need to add Quasar TVs to the device list. Also on Yamaha Audio Receivers there doesnt seem to be A Power On/Off button. Other than that .....very nice.

It works so great it it is the solution for not having batteries at home to put in your remote.

If I could give them 1/2 a star I would. I bought the to adapter. Controls the volume on my tv but not the HD cable box. 19 days ago I contacted them to ask if there was something else compatible from the list of choices or if they could add my box and the response was 9 words long. Way to go customer service. Good thing this app was free. They need to learn a thing or two about how to respond with issues. Their response was basically equivalent to "did you plug it in?". Insulting and useless.

While some people have valid improvement suggestions, I feel some are just reviewing to bash the product. For example, asking us to download the app before buying to look at supported devices is not only a plus for us consumers, but also efficient. Look at the sheer amount of devices supported!!! How huge would that list have to be on a website? No doubt it would cause people to ignore the list as well. By Downloading the FREE app, we can even look at the UI and decide if we like it before committing to the add-on. Anyway, 2 thumbs up for working as advertised(says a lot these days on the AppStore) and keep up the great work!

It is simple tu use, works great, and you can strore the 5+ remotes decorating your living room table in a drawer. This is by far the best additional use case for my iPhone 4. Well done!

Does this company know what a good User Interface is? I had high hopes for tha app and hardware but they have a way to go!

Bought the device, works to turn on and off my Pioneer Elite plasma but cannot find an Onkyo AV receiver config that will work (and I tried them all). Not much use if I cant at least control the volume!
